University Project: ‘My World - Your View @ 08:00am’.
Hi, My name is Michael Mason I am a Uni student of BA (Hon) Photography in Suffolk, UK currently running a collaborative project to reach the world wide community to collaborate with me in compiling a photographic view of the world seen through their lens out of a bedroom window, (to include some or all of the frame in the shot) at 08:00am throughout the months of February and March (though I know February is nearly over). The point to this project to see what others see through their bedroom window giving an impression of why they chose where they live,(if they had the choice) what surrounds them, is there a linking reoccurrence in the images taken? Are they similar tonally? Everyone’s view is important because they choose it, or did they?
Would you be prepared to take an image for me and up load it giving your name and location if you so wish, or get in contact with me. I will credit all those images and people I use in my project.
I thank you for your time and potential participation should you wish to forward this on to any of you friends who wish to contribute please do so.
Here are a brief selection of photographs I have received for my ongoing collaborative project. Michael J Mason

These are the images I created for the ‘Circular Naratives’ project. Being inspired by such films as Leon (The Professional) or Collateral, which have a hitman or a gun-for-hire as the protagonist, or at least the focus. I created a narative around such a theme. The models in the images are Dan Jones, Lewis Innes & myself. The way in which it circulates is that at the end another payment drop is being made and then the cycle repeats, gunman takes the payment, recieves instructions etc.
A selection of photos from the ‘Interactive Naratives’ project. I created a ‘choose your own adventure’ game in the same vein as Zork or Tower using Microsoft PowerPoint and the hot linking function to link the players choices.
